Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry, with a preference for experience in Gulf countries, particularly Saudi Arabia.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and components used in construction projects.
Proven experience in leading and managing mechanical engineering teams, with excellent leadership and managerial skills.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing mechanical systems in construction projects, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
Follow and control the mechanical team works.
Review the mechanical team output against the project requirements.
Revise all submission to ensure the avoidance of any scope creep in design.
Coordinate with the related teams internally and externally.
Attend the meetings with clients and suppliers to discuss any submissions.
Coordinate the work priorities to match the project needs.
Audit the submissions quality to match the project requirements.
Participate in the pricing process for pricing or any specific tasks.
